ATTEMPT MURDER

13000 BLOCK OF CYPRESS AVE, VICTORVILLE

 

SUSPECT:       TWO UNKNOWN HISPANIC MALES

 

 

SUMMARY:

On Thursday, January 7th, 2010, at approximately 2:05 p.m., Deputies of the Victorville Police Station responded to a report of a stabbing in the 13000 block of Cypress Ave., in the City of Victorville.

 

Deputies arrived on scene to find stab wounds to the face and back of one of the victims and to the upper back of the second victim.  The injuries appeared severe, but not life threatening.  The victim with the injuries in his upper back, near his lungs, was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center and the other victim was transported by ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

 

Through investigation Victorville Police Deputies, with the assistance of the Victorville Gang Team and Detectives learned that the 2 twenty two year-old victims were roommates at the Cypress address.  Reportedly, the two unknown male suspects arrived at the location looking for another person, but then the encounter suddenly turned violent. The two suspects began stabbing the victims with possibly a knife and/or a screwdriver.  The suspects fled the scene in a white pickup truck according to witnesses.

 

Deputies located what appears to be gang tagging left on the walls of the victim's home by the suspects.  This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Victorville Police Station at 760-241-2911 or remain anonymous by calling WE TIP at 800-78-CRIME.
