CITIZEN PATROL

A Citizen Patrol volunteer performs various duties side-by-side with the Sheriff 's Department Deputies and
officials, including:
- Patrol
- DUI/Safety Checkpoint
- Accident & Crime Scene
- Traffic Control
- Parking Enforcement
- Special Events
- Neighborhood Watch
- Children 's Fingerprinting at community events

REQUIREMENTS OF CITIZEN VOLUNTEER:
- MUST BE A U.S.RESIDENT,AGE 18+
- HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD, A VALID CA DRIVER 'S
- LICENSE AND PROOF OF INSURANCE
- BE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER WITH NO FELONY
- CONVICTIONS &SUBMIT TO A BACKGROUND CHECK
- COMPLETE THE CITIZEN PATROL ACADEMY
- ATTEND MONTHLY GROUP MEETING
- VOLUNTEER AT LEAST 8 HOURS MONTHLY
