You must contact the local law enforcement agency for the
city you live in. If you live within the Victorville City limits
(not the outlying, unincorporated areas), you must call
(760) 243-1986 to make an appointment.
Registrations are done by appointment only.

How do I get a vehicle release when my vehicle
has been stored or impounded?
You can contact the local law enforcement agency where
the vehicle was towed from. If the vehicle was towed within
Victorville City limits, you can contact (760) 241-2911.
Please have the vehicle license plate number or VIN
number when you call.

How much are the City Fees when a vehicle is
towed by Victorville Police?
Depending on the violation, the City Fees range from
$100 - $150. If the vehicle was towed due to expired registration,
the fee is $100. If the vehicle was towed for driving without a license
or for a DUI, the fee is $150. Please note, these fees are in addition to fees incurred at the tow yard, and fees must be paid by CASH ONLY, EXACT CHANGE ONLY. There are also other violations which require a city fee as well.

How do I obtain a copy of a police report?
Copies of police reports can be obtained in person,
at the Victorville Police Station, or through the mail.Police reports cannot be faxed. If requesting by mail, you must mail a letter requesting the police reportalong with a self-addressed stamped envelope to 14200 Amargosa
Rd., Victorville, CA 92392. Please note police report number on the letter. If requesting a copy in person, you must bring the police report number along with a picture ID to the address above. Please note that only one copy of a police report will be released to an involved person.

Who can obtain a copy of a police report?
Per policy, only the involved parties (not including suspects) are able to obtain a copy of a police report. There are certain circumstances where copies of police reports cannot be released. If an arrest was made, or if a report pertains to a juvenile victim and or suspect, or if the report was forwarded to the District Attorney's office, a copy will not be released to any of the involved parties. Copies of accident reports will only be released to the driver's involved or to the registered owners of the vehicles involved.

How can I get a correctable citation signed-off?
Citations can be signed off during regular business hours. There is no fee to have a citation signed off. CHP (California Highway Patrol) citations must be taken to the local Victorville CHP office.

Citations which are issued by the Victorville Police Department or the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department must be paid at the Victorville Courthouse at 14455 Civic Dr., Victorville, CA 92392. You can also call the Victorville Courthouse at (760) 245-6215.

How can I get my fingerprints done?
There are two types of fingerprints - Ink Prints and LiveScan Prints. Ink prints are done every Wednesday from 1pm - 3pm, with no appointment necessary. The fee for ink prints are $10.00 per card. This fee must be paid in CASH ONLY and EXACT CHANGE ONLY.
LiveScan prints are done by appointment only. Appointments must be paid in person. The fee for an appointment is $15.00 CASH ONLY and EXACT CHANGE ONLY. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. The fee for a LiveScan itself varies from $32.00 to approximately $80.00. Please note, LiveScan appointments are very limited and must be made well in advance.
